News Release

The Directors of temporary staffing agency, Kent Staff Services 2000 Ltd, are very pleased to announce a new contract signed today with Mack Multiples in Paddock Wood.

The contract, a two year deal with effect from May 2008, will see Kent Staff Services 2000 Ltd as sole supplier of labour to the Fresh Produce Centre site in Transfesa . This new deal is the latest and strongest development yet in the relationship between Mack and Kent Staff Services 2000 Ltd. Kent Staff Services 2000 Ltd has been a labour provider since 1999, and has built up to the point at which they now have up to 500 temporary staff on the Mack site at peak periods.

On-site coordinators have an office within the Mack facilities to ensure the smooth-running of the operation, with full translation services and staff support services on site too, as well as their own in house Health & Safety trainers.

By fostering an attitude of openness and clear communication, a strong working partnership between Kent Staff services 2000 Ltd and Mack has grown over the years.

As Sue Leeves, Facilities Manager for Mack explains: “It’s a difficult and ever-changing market, with increasing amounts of regulation and legislation to negotiate. We’ve found that by working together we’re able to ensure that both parties not only cover, but that they exceed their legal requirements in many areas. Mack are proud of the high standards of working environment that Kent Staff Services 2000 Ltd have helped us achieve and maintain.”

Paul Kidd, Managing Director of Kent Staff Services 2000 Ltd said: “We’re very pleased indeed to have secured this contract. We consider ourselves to be Kent’s premier supplier of temporary labour, and we’re proud to be working with a company like Mack – Kent-based and keen to support regional business where possible. We look forward to developing our working relationship with Mack still further.”
